Day 54 - February 17, 2017 Myakka River State Park - Nokomis Beach , Florida

Today we spent the day with Donna & Wayne at Nokomis Beach soaking up the sun and red tide!

There was a dolphin playing in the ocean and having a grand time. We were unable to get a good picture because he/she was too quick.

After sitting on the beach we headed to the White Elephant in Inglewood. We had broasted chicken and potato logs. They tasted exactly like how BB Bink's used to make them. Delicious!!!

Of course sitting by the water we were affected by the red tide. Our throats were burning and we were coughing like mad. I never knew that the red tide had such a detrimental respiratory effect and when we got away from the water our coughs went away.

It was another great day!
